Getting around: The Vancouver area boasts an excellent public transit system and many in Burnaby find buses a convenient way to get around. Buses run on Canada Way 2 blocks over and connect to the SkyTrain light rail system. Once downtown, SeaBuses cross Burrard Inlet for a fun way to reach North Vancouver. Shoppers can catch a ride with the hotel’s shuttle service to the MetroTown complex of hundreds of stores and eating places. Driving is generally smooth and this location gives quick access to the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy 1.) Cars are the best way to get out of the city and up the coast or to the Gulf islands.
